We purchased Lady of the Lake in 2010 from a herd
reduction auction. She was under weight so we did not breed her in 2010.
She has filled out through her chest area and her back line and is
looking very nice. We have not confirmed her pregnancy through an
ultrasound but she has spit off males we have exposed her to and have
seen cria movement in the last week. Love to see those little bumps
pushing out on the side of females. She is the type of female that likes
to tease the boys across the fence, which she did a lot summer of 2010,
while we were getting her weight up. Other then being under weight when
we bought her, she has been a no problem female. She is very easy to
handle even being pregnant. She was rich dark brown fleece with nice
crimp. Searching for any shows she might have been in, I came across
these two listed under awards. Reasonable price for a proven female. We
are wanting to bring our herd size down with so many cria's due in 2012
and branching into raising Suri's.
