Liberty is a special lady, though she is registered dark fawn her fleece is more of the dark chocolate brown. Beautiful fiber and density. Liberty is a high maintenance female. She stresses very easily and would prefer a new home with few animals. She has given us 2 cria's that are really very nice. She has lost 3 cria's and each one lost was for a different reason. We purchased Liberty in 2006 and brought her home about a month before she was due with her first cria. Hind site says we should have left her there till she delivered, lesson learned the hard way. With the move so close to her deliver date she went into labor early, 313 days and her first cria (white female) was delivered dead. In 2007 she gave us a beautiful male that looks just like her and Liberty had no problems with delivery, had plenty of milk and excellent mom. Her 3rd cria was another white male and poor Liberty we had been fighting with parasites with the vet's help and then she came down with E-Coli which killed the baby inuteruo. We gave her a year off and in 2010 she gave us a beautiful white male which we have listed on our website (Antwan). This year we looked forward to her cria being it was an outside breeding but again we fought with parasites and not thinking we gave her Valbazen which should have not been used with a pregnant female. At the time we knew not to give within the first 3 months of conception but now we hear not at all. We have left her open to help get her weight back up and healthy. We have her listed as a companion animal but she comes with registration.
