Shadow is a sweetheart. He loves to snatch bites of feed from the bucket as you are feeding everyone else. He has a very mild manner and not one to do a lot of fighting with the other males. He is a true black male but has the brown on his underside which gives him a very unique look. His first cria was born June 6, 2009 and she is a real cutie. She is going to be a grey, though at this time not sure a rose grey or a silver grey. Her head has the silver grey but her cria fleece is brown with white fibers and I expect it to grow out to be a dark color. She has very nice crimp just with her cria fleece and as her blanket grows I expect it to get even better. See her under "News Flash". He doesn't have a lot of crimp but his fleece has a very soft handle to it and good luster. He is very good at settling a female, not overly aggressive but gets down to business. A very nice male for anyone thinking of buying alpacas or adding to the herd.
